Errata Sheets in Minnesota are governed statutorily by Minnesota’s Rules of Civil Procedure, Rule 30.05. Minn. Stat. Ann. § 30.05 (West 2017). This rule states that if the deponent or one of the parties so requests before the deposition is completed, the transcript of the deposition shall be provided to the deponent. Id. The deponent will have 30 days to review the transcript and make any changes to the form or substance of the transcript. Id. If changes are made, the deponent must include a signed statement of the changes as well as the reasons for them. Id. The deposition officer will then append any changes made by the deponent to the transcript. Id.
