Errata Sheets in Wisconsin are governed statutorily by the Rule of Civil Procedure 804.05. Wis. Stat. Ann. § 804.05 (West 2017). If either the deponent or either party requests, the fully transcribed transcript shall be provided to the deponent for examination and reading. Id. The deponent can make changes to the form or substance of the deposition. Id. If changes are made, the deponent should provide the deposition officer with the changes as well as a statement of the reasons for the changes. Id. The deponent should sign the deposition, unless the signature requirement has been waived, within 30 days after the transcript has been provided to the deponent to review. Id. If the deponent does not sign within 30 days, the deposition officer shall sign the transcript and it will then be considered fully signed. Id.
