Errata Sheets in Connecticut are governed statutorily by § 13-30(d) of the Rules for the Superior Court. Conn. Gen. Stat. Ann. § 13-30 (West 2017). This rule requires that if either a party or the deponent request, the completed transcript shall be submitted to the deponent for reading and examination. Id. The witness can make changes to either the form or substance of the transcript as long as the changes are accompanied by a statement of reasons for the changes. Id. The transcript shall be signed by the deponent within 30 days unless the parties have agreed to waive the signature, or the witness is unable to or refuses to sign. Id. If the transcript is not signed within 30 days, the deposition officer shall sign the transcript and the deposition can be used as if fully signed. Id.
